What Happens If a SELLER Cancels a Trade Under Trade Protection?
Created: 6 months ago
Steam trade protection is a security system that protects both the buyer and the seller. However, if the seller cancels the trade while the protection process is ongoing, there are serious consequences.
⚠️ Important Notes
If the seller cancels the trade while trade protection is active, the following actions will occur automatically on Steam:
- All trades under protection are canceled,
- All skins involved in the ongoing trade process are returned,
- The seller’s account receives a trade ban for 30 days,
- Additionally, the seller cannot make transactions on the Steam Community Market. 🛑
🛡️ Actions Taken by ByNoGame Under Buyer Protection
ByNoGame applies the following steps to ensure security under its “Buyer Protection” policy:
- All of the seller’s listings are removed,
- The seller’s store is suspended for 7 days,
- The Trade URL of the seller who performed the operation is locked,
- During this period, the seller cannot sell from other accounts. 🚫
