What Happens If a SELLER Cancels a Trade Under Trade Protection?

Steam trade protection is a security system that protects both the buyer and the seller. However, if the seller cancels the trade while the protection process is ongoing, there are serious consequences.

If the seller cancels the trade while trade protection is active, the following actions will occur automatically on Steam:

• All trades under protection are canceled,
• All skins involved in the ongoing trade process are returned,
• The seller’s account receives a trade ban for 30 days,
• Additionally, the seller cannot make transactions on the Steam Community Market. 🛑

• All of the seller’s listings are removed,
• The seller’s store is suspended for 7 days,
• The Trade URL of the seller who performed the operation is locked,
