What is $ Exchange Rate Protection for CS2 Skin Sellers?

At ByNoGame, we have developed the $ Exchange Rate Protected Pending Balance system to protect the income of our CS2 skin sellers against exchange rate fluctuations.

This system is effective as of September 1, 2025; the sellers' pending balances are secured and protected based on the Central Bank of Turkey (TCMB) Dollar exchange rate on the sale day.

How Does It Work?

• Due to Steam's “Trade Protection” process, the balance of your CS2 skin listings and Sell to Us deliveries are held in the ByNoGame Secure Pool for 8 days.
• During this period, your sales earnings are fixed in USD based on the TCMB Dollar exchange rate on the sale day.

Your earnings are transferred to your ByNoGame Wallet as current exchange rate TRY when the waiting period ends.

How is my earnings affected?

📈 If the exchange rate rises: Your earnings increase.

📉 If the exchange rate falls: Your TRY equivalent on the sale day is protected.

Example Calculation

• You sold a skin worth 1,000 TRY.

• The sale day’s TCMB USD/TRY rate is 40 TRY → Your earnings are fixed at 25.00 USD.

• After 8 days, the rate becomes 41 TRY → 25.00 × 41 = 1,025 TRY is credited to your wallet.

• If the rate had dropped to 39 TRY → instead of 25.00 × 39 = 975 TRY, it would be protected at the sale day TRY value of 1,000 TRY.

Conclusion: Your earnings will never fall below the TRY amount on the sale day. 🙏

My Account > Trade Protection Pending Transactions: You can see all your pending transactions in detail.


Sales & Listings > Past Deliveries: You can track your deliveries under “STEAM TRADE PROTECTION” and the remaining days for transfer.
